FAQ

What’s a zine/fanzine?
It’s a magazine (digital in our case) made by and for fans of a certain character, series, concept; any theme imaginable!
What’s this zine about?
Only the best boy ever: Genya Shinazugawa from Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba). This is a digital, general, SFW zine about Genya and his trials, triumphs, and tragedies.
What can we expect to see?
There’ll be artwork, fanfictions, and digital merchandise.
Will there be ships?
Genya’s familial and platonic bonds will be featured, but because this is a general zine, there’ll be no romantic or sexual ships.
Are AUs allowed?
Yes, but they must be in-character. Kimetsu Academy, official merch versions of Genya, and chapter 205 Genya are all acceptable, but don’t feel limited to those choices!
Can I apply if I create NSFW content outside this zine?
Yes, but NSFW pieces aren’t allowed as samples in our applications.
Can I apply if I’m a minor?
Yes, but you must be 14 years or older, and you must have a parent/guardian who’s able to receive the profits via Paypal for you.
How’ll contributors be compensated?
A free full digital bundle (zine + merch) is guaranteed. Additionally half the profits will be divided equally among the mods and contributors.
Where’ll the money from this zine go?
Half our profits will go to Oxfam, and the other half will be divided equally among the mods and contributors.

MODS

Breebly is our organization mod who'll be overseeing writers, social media, and finances. She has written for The Dark Door and Winter Flower, the latter of which she’s also modded for. She enjoys horror, reading, and journaling, and she’s unhealthily (but shamelessly) obsessed with collecting Genya merch.

Crisantemo is our art mod who’ll be handling graphics and formatting to make this zine look as striking as Genya does. This is her first time modding, but don’t underestimate her. She’s well-versed in the zine world and has written for Unbreakable and drawn for Watermelon Sugar and Breathe: First Form.
